2018年9月新学期开始后，华锐实验学校为初中和小学的同学们开设了一门英语外教口语课程，利用先进的远程视频教育工具，同学们可以和远在加拿大的叶氏学校英语外教老师Fatima Dinani连线，在外教老师的带领下学习正宗的英语外教口语课程。
时光飞逝，本学期马上就要结束了，经过一学期的英语口语培训，同学们和外教老师成了亲密的伙伴。在口语课上，外教老师不仅带领同学们阅读课文、学习单词，以此来教会同学们正确的英语发音，还与同学们进行单独的英语对话，将学习到的语言知识应用起来。
经过一学期的学习，同学们不仅能够熟练的运用英语进行日常交流，口语能力的提升也帮助同学们提高了英文写作的能力。四年级的八位同学在课后使用中英双语写下了他们上口语课的感受，一起来看看吧：
在外教班，我认识了很多人，学到了很多知识。与外教老师对话，并越来越熟悉。在英语老师的教导下，我们一起玩耍。我要谢谢外教老师和外教班的所有老师，她们对我都非常好。 In the foreign classes, I meet many people and learn a lot of knowledge. I talk with the foreign teacher and become familiar with her. Under the guidance of our English teacher, we play together. I want to thank my foreign teacher and other teachers. They are all very good to me.
感谢学校开出的外教口语课，让我们增添了许多知识，让我们学习许多课外的课文和单词，让我们在考试中考了一个好成绩。我非常感谢学校和老师！ I am very thankful to our school’s foreign oral English lessons. We learn a lot of knowledge, we learn many extra-curricular texts and words, and we get a good result in the exam. I‘m very grateful to our school and our teachers!

在外教课上我收获了很多，学习了很多有关字母的语音，提前学习课文知识。有不会的单词，外教老师一遍一遍地教我们读；如果有错误的发音，就反反复复地给我们纠正。直到我们会读、读对为止。谢谢任老师和Fanami老师，让我们学会了这么多！ In the foreign teaching class, I gained a lot, learned a lot about the pronunciation of letters, and learned the texts in advance. 我非常喜欢上外教课。自从上了外教课，我就学到了很多知识。外教班很不一样，外教老师全部用英语跟我们交流。Fanami老师教我们单词怎么读，还经常让我们分组读，单独辅导我们。感谢校长特意为我们请来了外教给我们上课。 I like the foreign class very much. I learn a lot in this class. Foreign class is very different. My foreign teacher talks to us all in English. Teacher Fanami teaches us how to pronounce words, and often lets us read in groups and coaches us individually.
